The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) helped out the markets Wednesday afternoon by leaving interest rates steady. They also repeated a willingness to be patient on future interest rate increases, and maintaining a robust balance sheet. This should lead to further bullishness in the market as long as we continue to get positive earnings reports the rest of the week.
